Legislative Advocacy

One of the primary member services the NHASP provides is Legislative Advocacy.  Members of our Advocacy Committee work collaboratively with partners across multiple state organizations to  support tracking LSRs  (proposed bills)- via titles, sponsors, language, committees, hearings, votes, crossover, and follow-up hearings.

The NHASP Advocacy Committee is comprised of volunteer members from each of the 5 NHASP regions. Legislative Meetings are open to all NHASP members.  Virtual meetings are held weekly from Dec-June on Wednesday afternoons from 3:30-4:30pm.  If you are interested in attending one of our meetings, please contact Bridey Bellemare, Executive Director at bbellemare@nhasp.org.

Each legislative session, the NHASP will publish the bills the organization is tracking. These bills are often organized by category and / or priority. Beginning in December we will publish weekly legislative policy updates for our membership.
